Barely 3% in UGC NET from Chandigarh , Ph 078-380-243-65

   CHANDIGARH: Out of the six lakh candidates who appeared for the University Grants Commission's National Eligibility Test and Junior Research Fellowship test on December 29, Chandigarh had 13,000 candidates.

While the overall pass percentage in the country was 4.14%, the Chandigarh average was slightly lower at 3.24%. A total of 422 candidates passed the test from the city. Of these, 69 cleared the NET in Education, 49 in Commerce, and 28 in Physical Education. In December 2013, 361 had cleared NET, while 61 had cleared JRF.
